⛽️ Costco Remains King of the Retail Gas Station

Gas stations are a popular way for retail stores to boost their revenues.

Sherwood Media recently compiled some examples of movement within the industry:

Costco remains king of the retailers, offering fill-ups to attract customers and provide an extra service.

Costco claimed 719 locations with gas stations worldwide in 2024 after opening its first in 1995. It also extended its gas station hours in February.

Gasoline now makes up 12% of Costco’s revenues.
