✈️ 10 Busiest Airports in the World

If you throw out the pandemic-disrupted year in 2020, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has been the busiest airport in the world for more than 20 years.

ATL served nearly 20% more travelers than the next-busiest airport in 2023. In fact, the gap between Atlanta (105 million, No. 1) and Dubai (87 million, No. 2) is larger than the gap from Dubai to No. 10.

Notably, Tokyo saw a 55% increase in airline passengers. And airports around the world combined to serve 27% more passengers than in 2022.
