🚘️ Auto Insurance and the No Good, Very Bad Year

Auto insurance hasn’t increased that fast since 1976. Talk about a bummer for your wallet.

Luckily, Clark keeps offering great advice to shield yourself against this no-good trend:

  1. Raise your deductible to at least $1,000.

  2. Avoid making any small claims.

  3. Maintain a good credit score.

Most importantly, you need to re-shop your auto insurance policy. The rate increases, and the reasons behind them, have hit some companies harder than others. And different auto insurers will view your risk profile differently.

There is one area where you want to spend more on your auto insurance, not less. Especially if you have significant assets, Clark wants you to increase your liability coverage to more than the state-mandated minimums, as he explained on the Sept. 18 podcast.
